Stop #3: Grand Canyon, AZ

We went off the grid for a bit, so there's two posts coming to ya! And by "going off the grid," I mean that AT&T didn't have a tower in the Grand Canyon so that meant no cellular service for the duration of our stay. Either way, I was totally fine with it.

We stayed over at my ex-FIL's, which is about 5 minutes away from the south rim. It was a nice treat for my wanderlust husband, but somehow, I managed to turn that 5 minute walk into a hour and a half walk. He was cursing my name the whole walk back, but it was great exercise for me!!

We also got to catch the beautiful night sky and the Milky Way above us. We also got to catch a glimpse at a couple of falling stars. Somehow our oldest was able to spot a ton of satellites, but wasn't able to catch any of the falling stars that my husband and I saw. Luckily, he got to see at least one.

Optimistic me tried to take a picture of the night sky with my Mini90, which obviously did not develop. The only way I'd be able to get a picture of the stars and Milky Way on an Instax is by cheating and printing it out.
